I liked this part: The most important part of any coach’s leadership is the values-based culture they instill in their club. Sometimes players must be reminded they aren’t bigger than the game itself. This can be done by creating a foundation of values which includes trust, ability, believability, dependability, and connectedness.  This makes me think of our Colts Way (http://www.yarmouthcolts.com/about_us/colts_way)

I also attached two interesting things to read – the first describes what I think most of us old coaches hope to evolve into (the Modern column) – the second is a nice reminder of tactics we want to remind our older players of and may be a good reminder for some in-game coaching points.
